Small farms. Big ideas.
Changes to the format of the 2021
Balingup Small Farm Field Day
The Balingup Small Farm Field Day committee wish to advise that due to possible COVID-19 restrictions, we will not be holding our usual large scale field Day in 2021.
Our next event will be in an alternative format to showcase our town’s local produce, farming knowledge and experiences.
We welcome residents and visitors to a mosaic of smaller events over April 9, 10 and 11, 2021 with a focus on small acreage farming and the country lifestyle.
The committee would like to thank all exhibitors for their past support and we hope to see you again for a more regular event in 2022.
We will be posting further details over the next two months

An idea continues to evolve.
Since it began in 1991, the Balingup Small Farm Field Day has showcased many aspects of small farming; caring for the land and animals, growing trees and food, cooking with fresh local ingredients and creating fashion and crafts with natural products.
A group of volunteers from the Balingup community organise this event each year. The profits made from the field day help finance worthy community projects.
This web site provides detailed information of the program, a map of the event and a list of the exhibitors, past and current. The program of entertainment, demonstrations and speakers is available on this site a month before the event.
More information about this event can be heard through the Western Tourist Radio Promotion recording.
