Tour Balingup and visit two unique local producers, enjoy a picnic lunch followed by a tour of the Golden Valley Tree Park, then finish off with an exclusive pop-up market of local Balingup producers, light entertainment and food made from fresh produce sourced from the participating farms at Jalbrook Estate. This is a great opportunity to immerse yourself in another aspect of what makes Balingup so special. Woodlands Marron and Fruit Farm, and Ridgewood Avocado Farm are excellent examples of 'small farms with big ideas'.
The fresh produce from these farms will then be created into a culinary delight by Lynlee from Lady Marmalade. If you follow Lady Marmalade on Instagram or FB then you know you will be in for a treat for both the eyes and the belly... Lynlee's presentation is impeccable.
Sunday the 7th April, a fully air conditioned coach bus, provided by Royal Gala Tours, will depart from the Balingup Village Green at 9:30am sharp. The local growers will be your guides at the two farms. Following your first farm visit, you will travel to the Golden Valley Tree Park to enjoy an individually packaged lunch from Blackwood Daily Grind and then a guided tour of the Park with Dr Chrissy Sharp. You will then make your way to your second farm visit. The day will wind down with an exclusive pop-up market of local Balingup producers, with some light live entertainment and food served in the exquisite grounds of Jalbrook Estate, allowing you to truly enjoy the farm to table experience.
